I CAN DO THAT is an unconventional variety show that challenges celebrity cast members to step outside their comfort zones by putting on a new act each week. The series, hosted by Marlon Wayans, is based on an Israeli concept from Armoza Formats. The six member cast set for the competition are “Dancing With the Stars” alum Cheryl Burke; singers Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger and Ciara; comedian Jeff Dye; and actor Alan Ritchson.
Each week, they will work in pairs to put on an act with the help of guest stars who work in other fields, such as magicians, acrobats and stunt performers. At the end of the six episodes, one of the regulars will be crowned,
“I Can Do That” launches May 26, 2015. Marlon Wayans, Rick Alvarez and Stephen C. Harris are executive producing for Workaholics Entertainment. Audrey Morrisey of NBC’s “The Voice” and Matilda Zoltowski (“Dancing With the Stars”) are exec producing for Universal TV. Avi Armoza, head of Israel’s Armoza Formats. The format is currently in production in 15 other countries, including Spain, Bulgaria, Italy and Brazil.
Said Wayans: “The cast is incredible. The show is fun and truly exciting, the cast worked really hard doing real stunts way out of their comfort zone. Ciara, Cheryl and Nicole were all bruised up by the end of our shoots.”
